ECHS Wrestling Season 2010/11 Finally Here!!!  

          Our First Match of the Year-Paulding County Duals             

      

       Facing Harrison, Alexander, Whitewater, Paulding and North Paulding.  A huge undertaking for our first match.  Our line up is thin starting with 103/112 empty.  Several key wrestlers were missing: Nelson, Higgins, B. Shea and Sherwood, this task will be hard to handle without them.

       We start with Harrison and end the day with N. Paulding.  Wrestling very hard, I think we did much better than was expected.  At 112 J. Krzysiak finished strong with three straight wins while his older brother Zak battled hard all day and pulled out impressive overtime win against N Paulding.  Wrestling at 125 for B. Shea, Cox went 4-1 only losing to Alx. in the last 22 seconds.  At 215 we saw a very focused wrestler, Reeves going 5-0 and dominating every match with early pins.  

       We also were lucky to have some extra coaches helping out with varsity and JV.  Jeff returned to cheer us on and give the refs a hard time, always good to see him back.  Next match at home 12-2-10 against Mcintosh/Sandy Creek, will be some great wrestling-Don't Miss it!  See you then.
